Description:

The current social networking boom has been driven by technology that figured out how to capture the essence of human social interaction and combine it with the persistance, wide accessibility, and data storage capabilities of the web, encouraging people to take their relationships online and grow their social networks in new ways.

How can your library utilize these technologies and tools, and how can libraries find their place in the social networking ecosystem? Come find out with Eli Neiburger, Associate Director of IT and Product Development at the Ann Arbor District Library, and have fun finding out about what's hot in the social networking world and why, as well as how your library can get on board.
