Webjunction Online Classes
Online classes through WebJunction are now available to Michigan library personnel.
These classes have been purchased by the Library of Michigan and are available at no charge to users. Dozens of topics are available, everything from customer service and library management, to web design and development. Registrations stay current for one year from initial sign up. These are self-courses you may bookmark and return to if you are unable to complete them in one session. These courses are always available and may be accessed by multiple users at the same time. Also, all courses may be applied to continuing education credits units for Level VII Certificate of Library Experience renewal.
Contact Continuing Education Coordinator Betsy Hull for a library code coupon to register. Then, it’s a simple process to create an account with WebJunction and begin the class.
More tips on the WebJunction classes are found at the continuing education page on the Library of Michigan website: MHAL - Certification and Continuing Education There you will also find other programs for online classes that are approved by the Library of Michigan for continuing education credits.
All classes previously offered by LibraryU have been absorbed by WebJunction.
