Mel Databases are FREE commercial databases just for Michigan Residents. The Library of Michigan has purchased over thirty commercial databases which are available free-of-charge to Michigan residents. Some of the databases are Ancestry Library Edition, Medical/Health, Learn-a-Test, Law, Magazines, Journals, Newspapers, and more.

The Skidway Branch Library has opened an account up at the Northland Federal Credit Union in Skidway. Anyone who would like to donate to the building fund can do so at the bank or at the library. Be sure to tell the bank teller that it is for the "Skidway Lake Library Building Fund".
